• Bachelor of Science Biochemistry Major

  4 Years Full Time Online

  There are three courses required for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry:

  • Grade 12 U Biology
  • Grade 12 U Chemistry
  • Grade 12 U Calculus and Vectors
  • Grade 12 U Physics (recommended)
  Applicants from Ontario will be considered for general undergraduate admission based on the following requirements:
  • Successful completion of Grade 12U English
  • Five additional Grade 12 U or M level courses
  • Minimum grade average of 65%
  • No O-level courses or Co-op courses used

  70% min in the following university level courses – Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, Chemistry, 2 from the following list biology, physics, earth and space science, or a second Math and English. Recommended subjects – English and a second Math credit.

  Completion of a Masters degree in chemistry or Biochemistry with a minimum average of 80%, 3 references, statement of research interest, Graduate Record Examination in Chemistry, approved thesis supervisor, curriculum vitae. Part-time option is only available following the completion of the 3 year residency and submission of thesis draft
